Go Back In Time With Bee Cheng Hiang

Bee Cheng Hiang has its roots in Singapore in 1933. It all started from a street hawker, Mr Teo Swee Ee, in Chinatown selling freshly barbequed meat. His business started blossoming during festive seasons as people started craving for this delicacy. From then, Mr Teo started calling it as ‘bakkwa’.

That's how 'bakkwa' became the primary and best-selling product in Bee Cheng Hiang. So if you're looking for the renowned 'bakkwa' that is served piping hot and savoury, while being pleasingly "chewy" without being tenacious to the point of teeth pulling, head down to any outlet of Bee Cheng Hiang and get served 'bakkwa' fresh from any grill!

Otherwise, you can also buy packaged 'bakkwa' online that uses a selection of meat like pork, chicken and beef, together with the option of spiciness.

Other than 'bakkwa', Bee Cheng Hiang has also branched out to sell other meat-produced products like pork floss, cereal crunchies, prawn rolls etc.
