Challenge

Kenko Corporation, an Asia-oriented trading firm focusing on chemicals and allied products shares how it’s embracing digital to overcome the challenges that stem from COVID-19. “The short term challenge is how to efficiently use online social platforms to retain business connection with customers. Teams or Zoom are good tools, but real face-to-face communications are indispensable and irreplaceable. The long term challenge would be how to execute business transactions and get PO delivered by optimizing a system that can integrate Kenko’s homepage with other segments of the B2B supply chain.”, says Jimmy Imou, Special Advisor to Kenko’s CEO.

Before today, Kenko’s website was barely functional and aesthetic. They did not think security was a major concern until they realised their homepage was located in a vulnerable server and that just one malicious attack could’ve paralyzed their entire website. Inquiry emails would also often get lost in transition without even reaching the relevant teams.

Solution

Wanting to rectify this immediately, Kenko reached out to SourceSage for help. SourceSage helped beat the above challenges by offering a more secure location for the website, redesigned the page layout, and added an extra function that notifies the respective personnel on a particular inquiry.
