Started as a humble abode at 180 Yio Chu Kang Road, Dato Francis Ng set up the House of Seafood in order to provide job opportunities for the struggling elderlies.
One day, by a stroke of luck, one of their satisfied customers happened to be a female reporter from Lian He Zao Bao. Thus, House of Seafood was featured on the newspaper, earning them famed reputation overnight.
Other than Lian He Zao Bao, the House of Seafood has also been featured in other news and media outlets, further solidifying their credibility.
