What is SourceSage?

· sourcesage,what is sourcesage

SourceSage is an eCommerce platform company that connects large and small players. Unlike many existing eCommerce platforms which mainly serve the B2C markets, we have proprietary platform features which empower merchants who want to sell to both companies and consumers.

SourceSage started over five years ago when our founder Jian wanted to build a B2B platform around a traditional industry, without building from scratch. He quickly realized it was incredibly challenging to do so with existing platform technologies out there. So he decided to create it himself, and SourceSage was born. Read more here

SourceSage is now a popular B2B2C commerce platform designed for businesses of all sizes and industries. Whether you sell chemicals, industrial products, fashion clothes, or designer shoes, SourceSage has you covered. The first SourceSage whitelabeled platform was our own, and it’s been our mission to empower each enterprise with it's own platform.

Who We Work With

The typical users of whitelabelling SourceSage ecommerce platform include: A) large or small sellers (i.e. distributors, traders or manufacturers), B) large corporate buyers (i.e. procurement for large MNCs) and C) network owners who have an ecosystem of buyers and sellers (e.g. financial institutions, or trade associations). Such users usually come from following industries which require unique features that existing eCommerce platforms can't offer, including:

  1. Industrial Products

  2. Chemicals & Plastics

  3. Wholesale Trade

  4. Retail

  5. Commodities

How SourceSage Onboards Companies

As an eCommerce platform, SourceSage empowers companies that are looking to digitize their sales and/or procurement processes. Be it an SME seller which is looking to build an online shop or a large company which is looking to build a whitelabeled eCommerce platform, our platform allows configuration and customization to suit their needs.

For SME sellers, they will be able to onboard themselves via our DIY online shop builder while having our personalized help and self-help tutorials to guide them through an efficient process to get their online shop up and running in minutes.

For large companies, they will be able to tap on SourceSage’s eCommerce expertise to provide consulting services and adjust their scope to suit their customized needs in the shortest time. Our off-the-shelf unique features, including tiered pricing, public/private listing, logistics and payments integrations, avoid the need for many large enterprises to build their platforms from scratch while maintaining their own brand.

3. SourceSage for large buyers

For MNCs' procurement teams looking to make existing non-critical purchases more efficient across different teams, SourceSage is able to aggregate products from multiple eCommerce marketplaces onto your internal procurement platform (i.e. SAP, Oracle, Coupa etc). Our whitelabeled eCommerce platform is also able to provide you and your team with an exclusive environment to shop from multiple eCommerce marketplaces with payment terms should you choose not to integrate with your procurement platform. You may email us for our case study with DHL.

4. SourceSage for SME sellers

Beyond curating all the SMEs onto one catalogue to be easily sourced and scouted by MNCs, SourceSage also empowers SMEs to become more independent and relevant. We do this by facilitating the digitalization process for SMEs so they can convert from their brick-and-mortar storefronts to join the leagues of stores that have already successfully digitized themselves for the new post-Covid business model.

Unlike other online store builders, we not only provide templates for SMEs to customise the look and feel of their digital storefront, but also go a step further to hand hold them during the onboarding and design process. SourceSage provides payment and logistics solutions that are pre-integrated into their online stores so SMEs do not have to worry about finding these additional service providers.
